Michelle Newman, President
I am thrilled to serve as the Ben Franklin PTO President for a second term. My son will be
in 2nd grade and twin daughters that will be in TK. I work at a university and enjoy
education and the opportunities it allows. I like volunteering at Franklin because it allows
me to be part of my children’s educational journey, allows me to know what is going on in
the school and I get to work with the students, families and staff. I look forward to a
GREAT year at Franklin!

Hello Franklin Families! I am so excited to continue taking on the role of PTO treasurer! I love
getting involved and volunteering at Franklin. My son is now in 4th grade and I am so excited for this school year!
Delia Barajas, Secretary
I am excited and honored to be the Secretary for Benjamin Franklin PTO for a third term. I have
one son who is in 3rd grade and I love being involved in his education. I am very excited to work
with staff, parents and students! I am looking forward to a wonderful year at Benjamin Franklin!

I am honored to be serving as fundraiser chairman for the Benjamin Franklin PTO. When I am
not working with the PTO, I am serving the Coachella Valley as a Realtor. I have a daughter that
attends Franklin. I am passionate about helping out, supporting, and being involved in any way I
can for our community.
